NSSpain 2013

A few months ago I first read on Twitter about 'the first iOS dev conference' in Spain. At first it seemed like another conference with some popular Spanish developers talking about common topics, but when the organizers started to announce who was coming, I realized that it would not be a typical meetup.

The first surprising thing was that ALL the talks would be in English, because many of the speakers would be international celebrities, so the event would be followed around the world.

The second interesting thing for me was that it would be a four-day event, something very different from the events I usually attend, so with that much time it's possible to talk freely with the speakers and enjoy Logroño’s nightlife during its patron saint’s festival. That was the third reason to finally contact Borja & Luis (the organizers) about the possibility of volunteering, and the result is below (thanks for the photo @juanriaza) ;)

Being a volunteer allowed me to be in contact with everyone, and I enjoyed it because I also attended many talks by VERY smart people such as @orta & @fabiopelosin talking about our loved CocoaPods, @NachoSoto explaining how to improve our Core Animation work with a quick review of different ways to do it, or @steipete, whose talk I could not attend, but where people’s heads exploded trying to understand how the Obj-C runtime works.
